 I like Garfield. Little Twin Stars. Snoopy. Hello Kitty.

I grew up collecting cute stickers/items since young.

The cute one. The pretty one. The colourful one. You name it. I will take it.

Old memories: I used to hand draw them and make it into a card of some sort and post them to a Singaporean Penpal. We still keep in touch after almost 28 years of friendship.

 These are the wall decals where Peanut sleeps.

 I like wall decals hence the reason I have designed my own.
The designs you are looking were not designed by me.
I have it nice and neat for her few months ago.
Thinking, oh yeah, she will be very pleased when she sees that.
How wrong was I! She tore most of the decals and left the odd bits for me to stick them on.
Mind you, she was only 12 m/o back then. Destroy monster from early stage. Haha!

Part of my daily routine:

2 visits to the playground or park or duck pond on daily basis, if possible.

Peanut has a lot of energy. She is always on the go, non-stop.
We are always looking for new things to do and explore. Everyday.
I let her Run. Play. Climb & Chase. Laugh. Explore.
Play and Play and more Play! What fun!

It can be time consuming but it's all worth it!
Cuz I will be coming home with a tired happy girl :)

It's my Christmas gift from Mr Minzy :) You should see the smile on my face and the non-stop excitement jumping up and down when I saw it.

Instead of showing you photos of Peanut (my 19m/o) wearing funny goofy sunnies...making funny face. I thought I like to show you what usually makes me smile. So, I like accessories and they make me smile when I saw something I like and love. My handbag. My jewellery. My brooch. My watches. These are just some of my collection. I have to hide most of them away as Peanut is still young and she pretty much chew and grab it {tight} and not let go.

I like stripey. Smart Casual is me. I don't make up. I'm comfortable going out without any lipsticks.

That is one of the reason why I created Minzy Girl (the character illustration in this blog) wearing stripey and red is my favourite colour. I also like to wear grey and black. Very Melburnian colours I have to say.

One of the things which showing from my works are colours and plenty of them!! Another most important thing is surface pattern..imagine - texture & textile design. I attended a short course (Textile design) at CAE 2 years ago. I was blown away by the whole process. Thad had led me to more research about more Surface Pattern. Textile Design etc...and I found Marie's blog..and the Bowie Style. OMG! OMG! Am in love.

I bought the version 2 for my Christmas pressie and I knew it's going to be a late arrivals. Guess who just arrived in the mailbox when we got back from grocery shopping just now? YAY! The current issue has some of my favourite artists. Double bonus I say! Off I go to flick the book in Bowie Style! :))

I bumped into this from one of my FB's newsfeed. It got me all curious and excited. I like challenge. I did a few of them over here, especially the 3 months challenge here - An art a day, Multiply my day last 2 December ago (how time flies!). That was something I look forward to write something here on daily basis. It was very good for me.

Anyways, I want a change and let you know me better. So I have decided to join this Photo A Day Challenge at Fat Mum Slim. forgotten that I have to take a photo for the challenge today.

Of course, my breakfast has to finish it off with a cuppa. Yeah, was very thirsty.. ;)

So much had happened since the last post and wish I could find the time sitting down blog about it all.

I am not a person who set some what New Year's resolution simply because I not good at keeping them. So I go without having any for years.

These are a few highlights for Missy Minzy in Year 2011

Big Thank you for believing in my products! It means a lot to me!

We also made it to the first Mathilda's Market last August.

 Made some really good friends in the handmade industry.

We managed to launch a few NEW product range into our current range in Year 2011.

As some of you who follow me on the blog and FB's like page...and know me quite well.

I am not much of word person in real life. But I can be a chatterbox once you get to know me.

To me, I prefer to let my products speak for itself. So I prefer to stay behind the scene.

And guess what? Someone had contacted us recently and wanted to write story about us!

Yup! We were in the press (Progress Leader-Boroondara) recently

I know I have said that am one of those protective mum/wife who prefer not to unveil too much of my personal life (names etc) on biz page. Don't get me wrong as I am very proud of my family members, totally. But hey! This is the moment hard to come by and she is indeed one of the reason how Missy Minzy was born.

Now that I have your attention. Please note that I am currently stepping back from my FB's like page until 1st February but will hope to spend some time hanging out in blogging land instead. My head is buzzing with lots of new ideas and goals to be achieved for both personal and business in Y2012. There will be lots of Big + Positive changes at Missy Minzy. I look forward sharing them with you more, like old days..but with a new twist! Am getting the feeling that Y2012 is going to be a great year, for everyone!
