My Creative Space: Concept Sketching & Soft Toy

I have managed to draw some concept sketching awhile ago since my creative juice is running low sitting of the computer. Yeah, drawing and digital colouring are 2 different things to me :D
Some sneak peek of what I have been drawing...
More weird character coming :)
happy to see that more new illustration for Minzy Girl in this lot. :)
It's always good to do something different. So might hand stitch some soft toy since the creative juice is running low. Click here to see what soft toy I have done so far. :)

Mushy Softie (1st attempt)

I would imagine there will be more mushy family to come as you can see there's heaps of mushies in Minzy's world.
So, be prepare! Just so you know, Mushy the first attempt has funny bottom! Haha..

I am making this solely for hobby and fun sake. So, making it looking perfect is not what I aim for. Art is a personal thing. To me, they all look unique in their own way and I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do too. :)

Melly n Me

As some of you may have known that I have been mucking around by making more softies ever since I attended my first class at Thread Den. No doubt, it was and always a joy to make some softies. Just so you know, this is my learning stage. Main thing is, I like to make things for the sake of it and not to sell it to anybody whatsoever.

I found Melly n Me when I was doing my routine inspiration daily browse this morning. I was amazed on how cute those softies she made. What's more important to me is that her blog has tips n tricks which would make your softies look even better! ...uh hem, which obviously is what I needed ;) So have a browse or 2 on their site. You will know what I meant. :)

My First Handmade Soft Toy

Attended Soft Toy making class at Thread Den last night. Met some really nice girls. That including the teacher too. I was having fun making Cactus Boy (looks different from my creation. lol) last night. I can see myself making MORE toy in the near future.
