There were quite a few people stopped at my stall and had a look at this print at my first market - Fairy Floss Markets early this month. People who knew the whole process of making Lino Print will appreciate this. I started carving this when I first started involving in blogging. Linoblock was one of a few things I played around. Hence this is a very special to me.

Unfortunately only 2 prints (in black only) turned out to be the only presentable ones.

Yeah, am very fussy and precise on whatever am doing when comes to art.

This is how it looks like when it's done. Just a step before applying the ink.

All hand craved. Hand inked. Then hand pressed (if that's the right word ;)

before hand print them on quality paper. A lot of work but I enjoyed making them.

This will be my last batch of my original lino prints. It contents a lot of work and it is time consuming. It can be quite challenging when you have the little one on your feet with all the tools laying on the floor (with your dirty hands too).

Yes, am still alive and I have not gone with the wind as yet. ;) My week has been v full on. Peanut seems to be more alert these days. She took up a lot of my time and energy during the day. and I tend to feel tired after dinner (she has gone to bed by then). So it is good to finally get the chance to post something.

By the way you might be wondering how come some are not available to be purchased etc. There's 2 more weeks before Fairy Floss Markets' arriving (on 3rd October). Hence the busy-ness and won't have time to list and etc. Busy expanding my current range and so is building up my stock for my first market!! :) Be happy for me please. :)

Anyhoo, it is day 40 of my 3 months challenge today. The goal is to create an art a day multiply my day. That explains why you have been looking at quite a few or whole lots of black and white drawing/sketching in my blog. So there you go...these are just some of the things am producing to sell in the near future.

Just been having difficulty coming up with a proper name for the E-store and wasn't sure what to do with PayPal since am a very newbie. Or am I thinking too much?

Challenge Day 5 Pt II: Token Of Love

Remember those Minzy's Mushroom lino color sample prints I did on Challenge Day 3? I managed to make some Token Of Love from there. It will be given to Mr Minzy for his great supports! :)

Challenge Day 3: LinoBlock Print

I had fun having a go by using variety lino colors today. I have also discovered what are my favourite color/s during the whole process! Aha! I might give another go using different colors (not that I have many choices!) now that it has been used once. Based on my experience, the frequent you use the linoblock...the more character the linoblock's color print is. I enjoyed my day very much today. ^_^

Challenge Day 2: Lino Block

This is what I have produced today. Will give you an update how it looks like with some lino ink tomorrow.

LinoBlock Printing Round 2

This time I tried with a foam roller. Black color mixed with green to create a very solid black. :) I also get to try the new paper I bought few weeks ago. LOL

I told you I will get there. More mission to be accomplished for this week.

Experience from this exercise:

Better quality paper. Dry quicker.

It definitely brings out the beauty of linoblock's art and lino ink! :)

LinoBlock Cutting & Printing-Round 1

I have always like linoblock cutting. The smell of the block. The fun of craving them. The joy of rolling the colors. The strength of making it sure the colors are even. Personally not sure this 1st round's result is sufficient. That said, it is always a good thing to share what have I been up to. I will work on it more, as I have bought varieties paper from the art supplies. I believed it would be a better effects. Hopefully the inks dries quicker next round. :)
