2 Books and 1 Daring Adventures

Hey everybody, I got some big news!
I bought 2 books today! and they are mine! :D

I hardly spend money on myself since being a mum.
Most of the saving or money earned would have been
well spent on them instead of me.
Just probably one of the things any parents would do really :)
So this is somewhat big deal moment for me!

I get to know these 2 fabulous artist
when I was attending Lilla Rogers'
Make Art That Sells' e-course recently.
Will blog about the whole experience in another post..

E for Flying Elephant (Alphabet Range)

I think my 2.5 y/o toddler seems to like this print cuz it reminds her of a show named Dumbo. How funny what inspired you to draw when you are surrounding with all these busy little people ;)

You Little Beauty Archival Art Print

I love drawing fish. Might be something to do with being a Piscesians?

Personalized Baby Name's Print (New Range)

Put this together for a girlfriend as she was looking for a newborn gift for her best friend.
While am on this new range, the giraffe is also part of the upcoming wall decals' design.

New Print: Feather (Happiness Range)

Feather

Pretty pleased to share with you the 7th piece of my Happiness Range.
Apart from having a bit of struggle naming this print.
Otherwise it was a pleasure creating this.

My daughter is now 21 months old.
She loves the beach and she enjoys a swim or 2.
She enjoy holding nature elements eg: leaves & flowers in both of her hands.
I watch her running and chasing a little feather in the oval one day.
She looked oh so happy. Chuckling & giggling away.
Love seeing her big smile.
That means the world to me :)

Currently believing in
 { Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions. }
{ It is very important to generate a good attitude, a good heart, as much as possible.
From this, happiness in both the short term and the long term for both yourself and others will come}

An overview of my newest range ACEO Limited Edition Print at my shop
(still listing most of them...I cannot believe it takes up so much time!)

I've decided to tag along with Lauren Alexander's fun this month:
August is ACEO month!
So what is ACEO? ACEO stands for Art Card Editions & Originals. ACEOs are miniature original art at affordable price. It is only 2.5" x 3.5" in size. They are highly collectible. They are also good for framing, displaying, scrapbooking, giving as gifts and much more!
D for Duck is now available to be purchased.
I have included some of my latest illustration into the ACEO range in line to kick off the whole new range. As it is a new range and am only producing 10 pieces for each ACEO illustration print. So all of my ACEO prints are limited edition only! I am offering FREE SHIPPING for every ACEO Limited Edition Print purchase this month. And you are invited to wander at Missy Minzy's store for more details. :)

Bright Forest will be available for purchasing v soon
I am currently working on MORE new works to be included into my Giclee Fine Art Print collection. It's about time to expand my work and hopefully they will go places! Looks like I might have to cut down time spent on Facebook and spend more quality time in order to produce MORE quality works to be sold.

Challenge Day 85 - A day out at Heide

So I was missing in action for days. Did you miss me? ;)

Here's an update what have been happening....
Frank Hinder
Albert Gleizes
Melinda Harper
Challenge Day 85:
A day out at Heide Museum of Modern Art with the girls. We were there for Cubism & Australian Art.
I have to say it was an awesome visit to Heide. It has really open my eyes to acknowledge that Cubism is not only just lay on strong and bold color like Robert Rooney's work...or just Picasso's neither. I have also noticed the different period of time throughout the Cubism art movement carried out and how that had influent the Australian Art. So, the colors, the well used of perspective, the sculptures (they look different in every angle which I dig!)

I have managed to write down some of the fantastic artist with a link to some of their masterpiece.
Leonard French's mosaic glass ceiling work (this is the alternative work of his as I couldn't find his work I saw at Heide)
Frank Hinder Work1 His whole collection (He is my top favorite of all)
What we saw outside of Heide III
I like this picture..such a lovely tree too!
They look like a tennis balls from a far..
but this is the close up shot of some kind of fruit..
can be albeit sticky when you touch them.

It's stalking time! ;) I was stalking at Apartment Therapy today. Lotsa interesting and inspiration found. Unfortunately can't show you everything I thought it was quite nice to share but at least some...better than nothing hey. :)
Always have a thing at Moroccan's style and color.
It looks like a cupcake from a far..
Interesting lamp stand! Love it though!
I like home decorator who knows how to display with colors like this.
Something from the Mid-Century Modern Period
Said that not too long ago. Will still say it again.
I want that dining set. But maybe with either white or red chair instead of black.
Love that turquoise color.
Gave me an idea how I can muck around with mine..
Playing with metal mould like this is something very earthy..yes?
Hand silk screen printing experimental like me would appreciate simple lines like this.
Please note that all these images were uploaded for inspiration purpose and personal references only. You can visitApartment Therapy for more inspiration fix. ;)
