No joke. I never thought I would win something in my life. I seriously thought I should have bought tattslotto that day. Might became millionaire! LOL!

Anyways, I have been a bad girl. I was meant to post this when I first received it from Loula (the owner of Childrens Lighting) early last month (I think). Just that Missy Minzy and Peanuts have been occupied most of my time. Peanuts seems to love calling for mama when am about to touch the keyboard. Typical ;)

Challenge Day 105 - Do you collect anything as a hobby?

Do you collect anything as a hobby? I know I do!

I still remembered I used to collect Hello Kitty, those pink Bunny (forgotten the name), Little Twin Stars when I was a kid...it may well be on stickers, rubber stamp, bookmarks, cute pencils and pens, cute envelopes, bags, cards.....I truly had quite a huge collection that my sister got jealous and she had to took it from my drawer and cut them (guess she was trying to destroy the evident just so it does not looks like mine. lol)

Anyways, those were the good old memories. I doubt she would remember all this, now that we are both married with spouse;)

So you might thought Oh..Irene, she might be grown up and no longer thinking of collecting anything cute and pretty. You would be WRONG if you did! Hahaha...

New Hobby: I found this blog - I love Sticky Tape awhile ago and I was blown away by his collection (or should I say obsession?). They are not any ordinary masking tape or tiger tape (the ones you saw at the crime scene from CSI). I have learnt so much about sticky tape from Jacqui (the blog owner) that sticky tape can be creative, pretty, design, cute, vintage and the list goes on!

So you can imagine I was spending half of the time on Etsy trying to look for something cute and pretty while doing more listing on my Etsy store. Gotta love being a multi-tasking woman! :D~

Am back in action ...not for long

Hey all! Finally, a dream of traveling to Western Australia (WA) after years of promises from my husband. It was a fabulous experience doing this road trip from Victoria (VIC) to Western Australia (WA). I won't carry away in this post with too much of information on our trip. But it was sure a nice thing to be able to spend some quality time with my extended family.

I knew it is not an easy thing to get back to Minzy's world after 3 weeks of holiday. But I guess I have to start from somewhere. Otherwise it is not moving anywhere. So, I started some very small project. Hopefully is presentable enough to give it as a gift for my bestie's baby girl when am back to M'sia in 2 weeks time. :)

Yes, am going away again. I thought I should utilize my free time now that am on my own. I miss seeing my parents. I want to see my family. I miss M'sian food. Yes, we love our food. ROFL!

I hope to get some softies done before my departure. I want to see more of screen print experiments going.

Recent lesson learnt:

1. I have spent enough time sitting on sulking over the experience the fact about my previous job.

2. I saw a lot of true faces behind the mask on how people portrait me.

3. One tend to see who is your true, genuine and supportive friend when you are going through the rough time.

4. Appreciate and enjoy the fullest of your daily life.

A little Bit more

Something I have learnt yesterday. Design and arts are a very personal thing. One might like it. One might not. Hence, it is completely very personal thing. I have to confess. I am not very good on writing. Mainly because English is not my first language. Or maybe I did not give a damn on being a good student? Or maybe I am giving myself a lot of excuses to tell the world It Is Ok To Be Imperfect? Aha! I can speak 5 languages. So I tend to reflect most things based on my original ethics and how I grew up. This come pretty strong especially when you are not living in your hometown anymore. ANYWAYS ;) Am not good on English grammar. So pardon my grammar...but I want to write. :D

So, I was saying I have learnt something about doing what am doing recently. It is quite important for oneself to develop your own thing. That including your style, your way, your stroke..I have to admit that I am starting to dwell into my world everytime I pick up my pen and start drawing. It has never like that before until recently. I like doing it. Like going through what Minzy world is. Bringing out the quirkiness, whimsical ways of what Minzy world is all about.

I sometime found that it is not easy to express myself completely. People are very busy occupied by their own little world. Conversation comes from 2 people. I like to exchange thoughts and ideas. That is one secret way to learn from them. I sometime do feel I have so much to offer (eg: my dark jokes) and not many people discover that. No, am not a very loud person. I do not like to be the focus point in a big group. So leave alone speaking in public. It takes me awhile to open up and share. Hence, I reckon am a shy person.

Maybe Minzy world is the place where I can put my hair down and paint the town red and be fully 110% of myself.
